Title Matters!

How should you title your home?  When it's time to inform the escrow company or lender how you plan to take title to your home purchase, you should already have the answer from your CPA or tax attorney!

Holding title as an individual, a married person, a joint tenant, a tenant in common, or in trust makes a great difference in terms of inheritance and potentially estate taxes.  Get it right when you buy the property. - David
