Mike Rowe, host and perpetual apprentice on the popular TV show Dirty Jobs, has been named the Celebrity Ambassador for Lee National Denim Day 2011.
Since its first year, Lee National Denim Day has raised more than $83 million for the fight against breast cancer and unites nearly one million supporters nationwide each year.
Mike's publicity campaign for hard work, otherwise known as mikeroweWORKS.com, has formed a team to help support Lee Jeans in raising funds for breast cancer research.
Mike's mom Peggy Rowe is herself a breast cancer survivor. Their message is simple: donate the cost of a pair of your favorite jeans. Whether you'd typically spend $20 or $200, forgo a new pair and donate the amount to benefit this truly worthy effort.
Please join Mike, his mom, your blogger, and the rest of our team in supporting an important cause and having a bit of tax deductible fun doing it.
Just think about it: If you don't click one of these links, you won't even know what date to show your support by wearing denim! - David
